What does ‘MADE BY PEOPLE’ actually mean?

It means we’re honest about who and how we actually are, about what we do, how we do it and why we do it. For example: we want to make money but won’t maximise profit at the cost of people or the environment; we don’t use plastic in our packaging (but we do use cling film to secure our products on shipping pallets); we use no artificial colours or flavours but some nature-derived emulsifiers are necessary to make our products smooth and creamy; we use soya milk to make our ice cream, which has a much smaller environmental footprint than cow’s milk, but the soya milk comes from Spain, which is not ideal. We could go on but you get the point. We believe that honesty is a prerequisite for decency and decent is how we want to show up in the world, personally and with our business.
